This began as a design project for my Master's in Information Science and Media Design. What started as a concept soon felt like something that could genuinely help people. So I built it. Not for profit — but for the writer who just needs a clean space to draft their first novel, without subscriptions, without tracking, without barriers.

There are no accounts. No sign-ups. No cloud dependency. Everything you write stays on your machine — stored locally, owned entirely by you. I strongly recommend regularly backing up your work to a USB drive. That way you can download the app on any machine and restore your work in seconds.

This application is not code-signed (no paid license keys), so Windows Defender and macOS Gatekeeper may flag it as unrecognized. This is normal. Simply click "More info" then "Run anyway" on Windows, or right-click and select "Open" on macOS to override. The app is safe — every line of source is open for you to inspect.
